Ok, this is technically cheating.
When we were in St. Louis, we had such a nice hotel, I couldn't get the monkeys (Satchel, 10 and Jiro, 8) to leave. I did some research and decided to walk over to Pi and get a couple of pizzas to go. They serve "San Francisco style pizza" which I had never heard of, but the pictures and reviews online made me want to try it. Apparently it involves a cornmeal crust, and comes in both deep dish and thin crust varieties.
Warren and I looked at the menu online and decided to order a deep dish south side classico, a thin crust pepperoni, and a house salad. It was ready by the time I made it the three blocks over, and the kids were in the pool by the time I got back, so we had a little party.
The deep dish was beautiful And the cornmeal seriously reduces the grease factor. I give it two thumbs up.
The thin crust was also exceptional. The monkeys loved it.
Oh and the house salad was really nice.
One final note--they use pizza boxes that are serrated so that you can make them smaller boxes, or even plates.
Definitely check it out when you are in St. Louis. They have three locations.

Chase Park Plaza? OMG I love that hotel. Did you go to the coffee shop next door? Had the best chocolate chip cookie ever there. I'll definitely have to try Pi next time we are in town?
